The scientific co-ordination of the network is exerted by a Scientific Committee which is assisted by a Scientific Advisory Board.

 

Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee consists of the network co-ordinator and the co-ordinators of the three research clusters. These are:

Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board of the Bielefeld network is composed of renowned external scientists covering with their expertise the research topics addressed in the network. The members of the board are:

Managing Office

The administrative co-ordination of the network is executed by the network center, located at Bielefeld University.  The Managing Office consists of an executive director assisted by a secretary. These are:

  • Dr. Werner Selbitschka, and
  • Mrs. Dorothea Braun

 The tasks of the managing office include

  • the organisation of annual reports
  • public relations issues
  • technology transfer issues 
  • the organisation of workshops and conferences
  • the organisation of traninig courses and seminars
